| Shocklogic Global Limited BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER (AFRICA) GBP20,000 - GBP25,000 Plus Benefits Shocklogic Global Limited is an amalgamation of experts with over 50 years of experience within the MICE Industry. We pride ourselves on the fact that we have not only provided technology but also hands on management solutions to assist associations, societies, event organisers and convention bureaus to organise their meetings. As a result of strategic objectives, we require a Business Development Manager (Africa). You will drive and implement our strategic vision to enter and dominate the Africa Market. You will be expected to initiate and coordinate policy towards market entry and dominance. You will be required to work in a multicultural international environment. We will expect you to show real and potential networks in the MICE, Government and Private Sectors. A working understanding of key African countries like South Africa, Nigeria, Kenya and Senegal will be an advantage. The position is London based and will require regular travels to Africa and other parts of Europe OTHER REQUIREMENTS: - Fluency in written and spoken English - Marketing and Sales Background will be an advantage - Experience in Events and Conferences will be an advantage - Ability to work under pressure and without supervision - Excellent communication and customer handling skills - Equivalent of a good university degree - Working experience in ASP/CSS/SQL would be an advantage If you are a highly motivated individual and enjoy challenges, then send us a statement of interest and your updated CV on or before May 21, 2008.
