Based in London's Barbican, we've been scouring the globe for 31 years to create a vast inventory of hotels and unique ground travel products and services for our partners and clients on an international level. We have a great opportunity for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join a cutting edge business systems team within our London office. This role will specifically undertake and manage activities relating to the data modelling, architecture and technical design/support of business intelligence systems incorporating the following key areas: Manage BI architecture design and development Work with business analysts and technology personnel (vendors and internal) for technical solutions of BI business requirements BI focused product and toolset evaluation Facilitate regular meetings with organisational stakeholders Facilitate application integration roadmaps to fulfil business solutions Co-ordination of second level application support (including out of hours support) Provide technical due diligence of 3rd parties to aid the business in selecting and establishing working channels Advising the Business Systems technology group manager with BI issues Further details about the role are available upon request. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND BEHAVIOUR REQUIREMENTS Commercially orientated BI data modelling and system architecture exposure Extensive experience of the commercial technology environment, specifically incorporating BI and Data Warehouse systems Extensive toolset experience of administrative and productivity tools like MS Project, JIRA, MS Office, UML and/or other data modelling tools (e.g. Erwin). Extensive experience of data integration and presentation technologies (e.g. SQL, HTML, XML, XSLT, SOA, Web Services, WSDL) Extensive experience of project co-ordination and activity management Extensive experience of user and personnel interaction Extensive experience of software package evaluation and implementations Ideally educated to Degree level (or equivalent) Strong communication and organisation skills In return we offer a highly competitive salary, benefits and bonus package, excellent travel discounts and opportunities in a friendly, professional and supportive environment.
