| An experienced CDM Advisor is required for Central London, either contract or permanent. The principal function of this CDM Advisor position is to participate in the multi-discipline design of a major railway infrastructure project to ensure that whole life safety risks are identified and addressed (eliminated or mitigated) throughout the design process. Main CDM Advisor duties and responsibilities of this role are: · Liaise with project design staff to ensure that safety is considered throughout the design process. · Arranging design reviews to ensure that safety risks are identified and appropriate measures implemented to eliminate or mitigate these risks. · Documenting risk reviews to ensure all design staff are aware of the risks. · Management and updating of the project CDM Risk Register. · Ensuring that the company comply fully with the requirements of the CDM Regulations. · Liaison with the client on CDM issues. The ideal CDM Advisor candidate should possess and be able to demonstrate full working knowledge of the Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 2007 and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
