| Duties and Responsibilities - Qualified and non qualified tutors welcomed! The main duties of the post are: (a) Teach an appropriate range of student groups. (b) Contribute to the provision of engineering vocational/undergraduate programmes. © Contribute to the development of resource-based learning materials, as appropriate. (d) Act as personal tutor and course team leader to students as required. (e) Assist in the selection, induction, support and assessment of students, as required. (f) Organise student placements and visit students as appropriate. (g) Operate the course within the requirements of curriculum, assessment and examination regulations and in accordance with College or School policy or instructions. (h) Assist in identifying the resource requirements of engineering courses/modules. (i) Contribute to the development, promotion and marketing of new courses. (j) Carry out health and safety responsibilities as required by the College Health and Safety Policy so as to ensure the safety of the job holder and others. (k) Liase with employers and external agencies as appropriate. (l) Assist in the development of course evaluation mechanisms to ensure a quality service for students and employers. (m) Carry out any other such duties as may reasonably be required by the Principal and Chief Executive. GBP24,000 - 30,000 per annum |
