Development Manager |
| A Development Manager is required to work with the Assistant Director of Development to identify and secure new opportunities which expand and diversify the group's business aspirations as identified in the growth strategy. Main tasks: To establish and deliver a development programme in accordance with the Group's growth strategy, identifying and securing funding as required. To be responsible for the new business function in specific local authority areas To develop and maintain a comprehensive external network of contacts relevant to securing and delivering new business opportunities To work with colleagues across the group to deliver the programme for all forms of tenure including rent, shared ownership and open market sale To build and maintain effective relationships with the Housing Corporation, Local Authorities and external agencies To contribute to new business opportunities and work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver large scale community and regeneration projects. To assess risk and report to relevant Committee and Board for all projects, attending meetings as required. To assist as required in the development of policies, systems and procedures, and the production of management information as required.
