Project Office Support
We have an opportunity to recruit for the local government on temporary contract Project Office Support personnel to work in the Implementation Department working for the Implementation Project Officer.
The successful candidate will be required to support the team with planning, coordination, monitoring and control of the project.
The candidate will be responsible for maintaining and manage high-level detailed project plans. Monitor Project progress, risks, issues and change requests and support the preparation of checkpoint and highlight reports. You will be required to provide support to the project team in using project plans and processes with the effective use of project quality management and review processes.
It is important that the project library, filing, recording, monitoring and reporting systems is maintained to a high standard as well as organise and support events, meetings and workshops with a track record of providing project office support or project coordination in the public sector using PRINCE2 and/or adaptive methodologies.
It is essential that suitable candidate has Project Management qualification with a track record of providing project office support or project coordination in the public sector using PRINCE2 and/or adaptive methodologies.
Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write reports with good project office and coordination skills involving change management, quality management, Risk and Issue management.
You will be a self motivated starter who has the ability to work on their own initiative, has the ability to work effectively with a tenacious and 'can do' approach and positive attitude. Experience of communicating with stakeholders at all levels in an organisation.
