| Our client is a leading international law firm. The London office is highly regarded for its wealth planning and family work. As such they require a talented Trust Manager to join a current team of three to enhance the premium service they are already delivering to trustees. This ranges from full service (trust management, reviewing of accounts and preparation of tax returns, income tax certificates etc) to administrative action, advice and record keeping. You will undertake daily management of a range of trusts, respond to queries regarding trust management, taxation and accounting; complete trustees' tax returns and all related duties within required deadlines; liaise with investment managers concerning valuations; statements; advices and performance; arrange trustees' meetings, take minutes and action necessary matters; provide "family office" services as required. You will be able to demonstrate a knowledge of how trust accounts are prepared as well as have an understanding of Inheritance Tax regime for trustees and experience of filing IHT accounts. You must have either an Accountancy qualification or be a member of STEP. You will be an effective team member, demonstrate outstanding communication skills and have a proven ability of providing advice in lay terms to trustees.
