| I am a freelance programmer and web developer / web site designer. Currently much of my freelance work involves designing and implementing complex web solutions involving database integration. My Experience Indludes: Programming languages: Java, PHP, HTML , SQL Databases: MySql Skills: * Excellent skills in programming large to small scale applications with skills in each stage of the program lifecycle from defining the problem and designing a feasible solution through to testing and documentation. I enjoy solving problems as thoroughly yet efficiently as possible. * Highly experienced in web-site design using web authoring software as well as advanced HTML coding, I have particular experience of Macromedia Dreamweaver MX though am also happy working with a simple text editor. For dynamic web-site development, I am skilled in the use of PHP, Java Script and MySQL. Examples of web-sites I have worked on are available. * An advanced user of Office Software including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook and Frontpage as well as being proficient in the use of OpenOffice.org * Good general computer skills such as hardware maintenance. Excellent at adapting to the use of new and unfamiliar software. * I am also a good at technical writing as well as interacting with clients in order to best understand their needs and requirements. General Information: I'm happy to undertake projects anywhere in the UK. For practical and personal reasons I particularly welcome web design / development projects based in London and surrounding area. I'm also happy to undertake work in areas such as Reading, Swindon, Milton Keynes, Winchester, Salisbury, Newbury, Romsey, Southampton, Bristol, Bath and Weybridge.
