| Intermediate to Senior Electrical Design Engineer – Building Services London 10390 Our client is a fast growing firm providing strategic consulting, planning and engineering services to both public and private sector clients. A talented Intermediate / Senior Electrical Design Engineer is required to join engineering team in their London Office. Duties and Responsibilities: * Project design and site supervision * Liaise with other designers and construction team * Review/direct engineers * Responsible for dealing with construction/design team queries/problems * Undertake design calculations relevant to the design of electrical installations within major building projects (small power, lighting, building services etc). * Responsible for inputting time schedule for design * Responsible for identifying CAD/Admin requirements * Working in design, construction, execution, project engineering and comprising MV switchgear, power transformers, LT switchgear, control panels, power cables, internal and external illumination & lightning protection Requirements: * Minimum HNC in Electrical Engineering * At least 2 years of experience within Building Services * Ability to work independently from design to project management * Software skills including: Hevacomp/Amtech, Barbour Index, Specification Expert, Microsoft Office * Should be developing knowledge of technical engineering programmes i.e. Cymap and be able to calculate manually GBP35,000 - GBP40,000 + benefits For further information please contact BSV Consultants tel: 01483 768600.
