| Job Description Vacancy Description: We have an exciting opportunity for a junior server and desktop support engineer to join the support team in our vibrant, fast growing company. We are an "outsourced IT department" for SMEs, with a blue-chip client list including high-street brands, financial institutions and multinational companies. We supply and maintain a complete range of IT equipment and services, working to demanding fixed-price contracts with best-of-breed tools. We succeed by standardising and automating, then applying intelligent engineers to what remains. We invest heavily in R&D; and combine the cutting-edge with reliable professionalism. The right candidate will gain great experience across a wide range of software and hardware and will have the potential to progress swiftly within the company as we always aim to promote internally. We are looking for candidates with strong technical skills, excellent telephone manner and a willingness to put the customer first. You should be able to demonstrate the ability to support the following: desktops and laptops running Windows XP; Windows Server 2003, Exchange, Active Directory; LAN, DSL and general networking You must have recent experience of working in an IT Support environment or else your application will not be considered. It would be advantageous if you can demonstrate experience in any of the following: Working on a helpdesk to an SLA; Use of remote tools for support; Cisco support; Group Policy administration; VOIP support; Windows Vista; Mac support You must also live within a commutable range of Chelsea (nearest tube is Fulham Broadway) and be able to speak and write English fluently and clearly.
