The three surfaces (screen, image and inner) that make up the screen are all 100% flat, ensuring zero distortion and minimal reflection. The unique Flat Tension Mask eliminates doming effect resulting in improved colour purity. The 0.24mm stripe pitch results in a superbly sharp image. Visible tension wires are eliminated as they run vertically behind the mask on a FLATRON instead of horizontally where they can be seen on other aperture grill models.
