| Description: My client have been established for over 20 years in the industry and are currently the largest luxury home developer working exclusively in the Hampstead & Highgate area. My clients current projects have a completed value in excess of GBP150m, including a current project valued at GBP21m - this is a single unit house being built in Hampstead. My client have an excellent portfolio of clients, including a number of Premiership footballers. The reputation that my client have gained is wholly due to the quality of their staff and therefore the onus is placed on selecting the right candidate to fit in with the current team. In return, you will be rewarded extremely well. My client are currently seeking a commercial manager, to lead and complement the existing team and help sustain the organic growth of the company. Skills: My client are seeking an experienced senior surveyor or a current commercial manager that has the ability to: · Manage a team of 3 surveyors with a view to further recruitment if required · Ability to install effective systems of procurement, contracts and cost reporting · Ensure full support for estimating & cash flow production, enquires and trade orders · Thorough knowledge of construction industry finances · Experience of working on high spec new builds would be highly favourable, but not essential · Main contracting or developer background would be considered - the ideal candidate will have undertaken both during their career · A good knowledge of various types of construction contracts · Strong commercial acumen · Must NOT be more then 40mins travel from Highgate\Hampstead The role will be predominantly site based (Highgate\Hampstead) but would require travel to Wembley, as and when required, for Head Office meetings when you will be reporting directly to the board.
