| An outstanding opportunity to join an international construction company, a top 10 in the U.K. The company have a turnover of GBP1.6bn and are one of a few who are able to offer a complete service to their clients from consultancy to building to facilities management. They have a strong philosophy on partnering and framework agreements and their clients include the MOD, BT, British Gas, BBC, NHS and Barclays Bank. This particular vacancy is within the newly established consultancy arm of the business. They will advise the clients on the front end issues of construction and will also be involved throughout the whole process up to project delivery and FM. Examples of projects you could, potentially, be working on include a GBP12m Sports Facility, a GBP6m refurbishment of MoD Barracks , a new 6th form College and a GBP1m Office refurbishment. Projects and clients are based within the M25 The role will involve you working on behalf of the client to provide the best advise on construction methods and techniques and to establish tender list's, tender enquiries, cost plan's and monthly valuations to name a few. You will be working alongside a fully trained Project Manager. Applicants should come from a consultancy or client side background and have at least 4 years post RICS experience performing similar duties to those explained above. Qualifications are not essential (barring the RICS) but it is desirable to have some sort of higher education or/and professional membership. Successful candidates with either oversee 4-5 GBP1m contracts or one large contract in the range of GBP10m-GBP50m. Projects include commercial, retail and education.
