| Web Interface Developer needed for growing music industry start-up We are a well-funded startup developing a new product that will transform the online music industry. We offer a dynamic and challenging experience within a highly creative and entrepreneurial work environment. This is an opportunity to join the founding team and have a key role in defining a brand new service. We're looking for highly motivated people who are exceptionally bright, well organised, and see the possibilities rather than capabilities of technology. You'll work in a small team at all stages of development, to create an innovative site for a global audience. Your friends and a worldwide audience will all enjoy the fruits of your work * Innovate – We're always looking for new tools and techniques to improve what we do * Have a sense of adventure – We're a flat organization looking for people who are self-motivated, curious, and flexible PERSONAL TRAITS: * Good design sense, and passion for creating products that people love * Personable, positive, pro-active and results driven * An eye for detail, and an ability to see the bigger picture SKILLS: * Proven experience designing sites that are simple to use, and pleasure to see * A focus on user centered design, and high level of user empathy * A passion for crafting semantic, accessible and standards compliant mark-up (HTML + CSS) that works across browsers * Sound knowledge of JavaScript and DOM manipulation * A good understanding of AJAX techniques, when not to use them, and the principles of progressive enhancement.
