1998 Renault Clio in Metallic Blue with Remote Central Locking, Air Conditioning, Manual 5 Speed Gearbox, Full Service History and in Excellent Condition. Rare 5 door limited edition last of the line model. Over 11 Months MoT( went straight through - no advisories)and about 5 months tax.
It also comes with Original Owners Handbook Wallet, all previous MOTs and V5. High Spec and Low Mileage – Only 75K miles from new.
Full documented service history, every nut and bolt, main dealer until 2006. I even have the original bill of sale when bought new in 1998.
No rust at all, underneath like new, no bubbles on any panel. Super cheap to tax and insure. Engine runs like new, no smoke or rattles, pulls exceptionally well for an 1149cc. Gleaming light metallic Blue, hi shine option from new by Renault. Expensive tilt front Ministry of sound CD player included 4 speakers. Regularly serviced by main dealers including cambelt replacement, battery, both front and rear brakkes etc.
This was the very last of the pre facelift Clio's, April 1998, and the new shape was sold alongside this limited edition model. It came with the new 1149cc DIET engine (direct injection) which was a world away from the earlier engines. Much more powerful and economical, the same engine used in the new model Clio.
The car has remote central locking (from key fob, 2 supplied) factory tilt and slide sunroof, beautiful little car.
The car is HPI clear as I would have known by now if there was a problem with owning the car for some time but I have left the registration on view in the photos incase you want to check it yourself.
To summarise, this car is in very good condition and very economical with 1149cc engine.
It will be a reluctant sale, but I hope it goes to a good home as these sort of pristine cars come up very rarely.
