Electrical technician
An excellent electrical maintenance engineer is needed to work for one of the country's leading maintenance sub-contractors.
Your main objectives and responsibilities will be to :
· confidently work with, maintain and test all electrical services and associated equipment as instructed by the M&E; Supervisor, paying due regard to Health & Safety legislation, specific company requirements approved by the Health & Safety Executive and the latest electrical regulations and codes of good practice.
Experience required:
The job holder will be multi-skilled and have at least five years experience working in a maintenance or engineering related environment and will have experience with electrical services i.e. MV and LV power and distribution, environmental controls, boilers, refrigeration, combustion and public health services.
Your main duties will be to:
· To carry out planned and reactive maintenance work, fault finding and testing of electrical MV and LV power and distribution services including repairs and installation works properly instructed by the M&E; supervisor
· Ensure that records are kept of maintenance activities.
· To be able to Risk Assess specific work activities and produce a Method Statement where applicable.
Qualifications:
· C&G;/ONC/HNC or City & Guilds in Electrical Engineering as a minimum
· 16th/17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations qualified
