Civil infrastructure engineer to gbp30k
Structural & Civil Engineering design consultancy with over 30 years' experience is looking to expand their team and require a Civil Infrastructure Engineer with drainage design experience to join their team.
This role will be a varied and exciting mix incorporating not just the design of underground drainage networks for buildings, roads and car parks on new schools, housing developments and commercial and business parks but you will also be given the opportunity to work on landscapes, ground modelling and have interaction with the structural side of things. Projects will include schools, colleges, housing and business parks and you will get to see the job through to the finish from the initial design phase with interaction with the relevant authorities right through to final construction with regular site visits to ensure the contractor is building to design.
You'll need at least two years' UK experience as a Civil/Infrastructure Engineer already with both drainage design and ground modelling experience in cut/fill earthworks. Our client is heavily involved in SUDS and therefore you will need suitable experience in the sustainability side of engineering also. You must have relevant experience to see the job through from start to finish and will need to be confident using AutoCAD 2008, Windes and 12D and PDS for ground modelling.
