This consultancy is looking for a Divisional Manager to join their Highway Team in Sidcup (SE London) or Southwark (Central London). Mouchel is a professional support services group. As a Divisional Manager, you're responsibilities will include:
· Leading and motivating a department in all aspects of traffic and transportation.
· Providing successful technical direction, financial management and client liaison, in order to achieve the agreed financial, commercial and growth targets.
· Managing the department to achieve the business plan targets and contribute to the development of the business in support of the strategic growth of the Business Unit.
· Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with key clients and potential target key clients and ensure the delivery of a responsive and professional service.
· Developing and implementing systems and processes to ensure the effective management of project delivery in line with agreed objectives, timescales, costs and other KPI's.
Successful candidates will be degree qualified or hold equivalent qualifications; membership of a professional institution is desirable. You must have a sound technical background, proven experience in the field of traffic, transportation, public engagement and project management, as well as the ability to develop relationships. Other requirements include knowledge of all aspects of legislative compliance, including Traffic Management Act, Health & Safety and CDM 2007. You will have a proven experience in the field of traffic, transportation and public engagement, as well as experience of project management.
