Network inspector
Urgent requirement for skilled Highways Inspector to focus on a variety of inspections on behalf of this local authority in London.
To assist the senior Network Inspector in the delivery of highways services in the borough.
You will be responsible for all inspections in streetworks to be carried out by the council and assist in carrying out duties relating to the requirements of NRSWA, TMA 04, The Highways Act, Traffic Regulations Acts and other legislation.
You will also be required to assist in the implementation and operation of the Permit Scheme.
Inspections will include – Section 81 Defects / FPN's / Section 74 Charges / Defect & Sample Inspections. You will also be responsible for raising invoices.
Applicants must have:
* Previous experience of streetworks inspections
* Sound knowledge of NRSWA 1991 and TMA 2004
* Ability to use the IT System Mayrise (or similar like Symology, CONFIRM etc) to retrieve information, monitor and evaluate utility and highways performances.
* Good communication skills – particularly presentation and writing
This contract is set to run on a long term ongoing basis and will offer stability and security on competitive rates of pay.
