Details of role:
This role is as Manager of both the operational support processes (1st and 2nd line support), and Release Manager (managing testing and implementation of new system releases) for all business systems. Primarily this will focus around the in-house developed trading system, used by approximately 300 users globally. You will manage a team of 4-5 people and report to the IT Director. Training users definition of training material and arrangement of training for users in all applications. Analyse and determine causes of potentially complex bugs and issues. Understand the impact of bugs found and determine their priority. Manage the application helpdesk and issue resolution. Handle escalation to technical team as necessary. Report and discuss user requirements with product development team management of a helpdesk and assignment of multiple requests per day. Management of testing framework and implementation. Excellent communication skills at all levels. Ability to trace the causes of complex problems. Ability to manage the prioritisation and completion of multiple small tasks. Ability to make balanced decisions on operational issues. Apply now.
