LOGLINE:
Mental patient discovers that he really is an 18th Century vampire.
SYNOPSIS:
JACOB Whitleys parents are tragically killed in an automobile accident, when he is just a young boy. A distant aunt, graciously volunteers to raise JACOB as her own son. However, the aunt soon discovers that JACOB is not your ordinary precocious boy, with flights of fancy about becoming an astronaut or a rock-and-roll musician. It seems that JACOB believes himself to be a vampire. Not just an ordinary modern day vampire, but an 18th Century vampire, who believes that he is actually living in the 18th Century. When Jacobs eccentric behavior becomes intolerable, the aunt does the only natural thing; she unceremoniously deposits him at a local mental institution.
Time passes and shortly before his 25th birthday, a visitor arrives at the mental institution with unbelievable good news. It seems that Jacobs bills at the institution have been paid for by a rich uncle, residing in London, England. And then the bad news, the uncle died less than a week prior. And then the good news, the uncle left all of his worldly belongings and unimaginable wealth to JACOB. More good news, the uncles estate is also willed to JACOB, with the estate being the 18th Century Whitley Castle.
JACOB travels to Whitley Castle, with his trusted confidant MICHAEL. Everything is working out perfectly, until the late uncles mistress, BARBARA, makes a claim for the estate. During an 18th Century blood feast, BARBARA makes her demands perfectly clear; give me my money or else. JACOB, with the assistance of the local Magistrate, who is feasting on very rare meat, tells BARBARA to get lost.
On his 25th birthday, JACOB discovers that this is the birthday when all vampires become vampires. JACOB is elated to finally emerge as a real vampire, affirming his childhood beliefs and mocking those who
Doubted him. Now, with unimaginable wealth and being the Lord of Whitley Castle, JACOB begins to live life on his terms as a vampire from the 18th century in a 21st century world. JACOB even discovers a love interest in his sexy secretary. It appears that everything is absolutely perfect.
BARBARA kidnaps JACOB, holding him hostage. Jacobs courageous staff, the Vampire Rescue Team (HRT), saves him, with BARBARA being sent on a round the world trip.
