The Hale Makai Beach Cottages are located on the
North Shore of Kauai, almost at the end of the road towards the Kalalau Trail.
We consider them the best hidden secrete on Kauai. Our charming two bed-room,
one bathroom cottage is situated directly by the water on our beautiful
oceanfront property. We call this cottage "The Hibiscus" and it has been a
honeymoon hideaway as well as a family retreat in the past.
View onto Cottage #2 and the ocean surrounded by
beautiful tropical gardens, at the foot of the Napali Mountain Range.
View onto the lanai and the ocean from across the grounds. The
views from the lanai stretch from Haena to Princeville including the Hanalei
Pier.
The dining room with views into the beautiful
gardens of our beach front property as well as over the ocean. The Dedon
furniture is so comfortable that it makes eating at home a great experience.
The two bedrooms are furnished in a tropical island
style with luxurious linens and bedspreads. The master bedroom with a king bed
has an unobstructed ocean view, we also call it our sunrise room. Our charming
queen size bedroom is called our garden room.
Our Haena Cottage Style bathroom features all
natural materials and colors. The lines are simple and clean for the perfect
spa experience.
The spacious living area leads to the Lanai and is
fully exposed to the grounds and the ocean. The sun rises out of the ocean
right in front of this stunning North Shore Cottage.
Hale Makai morning views: The spectacular sunrises
over the ocean and the beautiful beach at Kepuhi Point also called Anchorage
Point.
