Hi. First of all... the last person we rented this room to liked the complex so much that she decided to get her own flat here and move in all of her dress designer buddies after being here only 4 days. So, we would have to ask you to commit to at least 6 months, because constantly having to look for new flatmates is a real pain!
About us: we are a married couple, American/Canadian, both in the performing arts. Ideally we'd like to share with an easygoing, sociable, and clean but not obsessively tidy busy professional. No home workers, please. When we are at home we enjoy cooking together and will probably offer to feed you. The flat, which overlooks the extensive communal gardens, is an airy, modern 2 bedroom with a shared lounge, kitchen/dining area, and bathroom. The room available is about 9' by 11' and is furnished with a double bed, large wardrobe, and dresser. The rent includes membership to the onsite leisure center (gym, pool, sauna,jacuzzi). If you aren't familiar with the Bow Quarter complex, do have a look at their website- just google The Bow Quarter. It's one of London's nicest gated residential developments.It's got great transport links- not just the tube at Bow Road, but also the DLR at Bow Church (9 minutes to Canary Wharf)and the 8, 25, S2, and D8 bus routes and N8 and N25 nightbuses. It's just a few minutes walk from the Roman Road, where there's a great street market.
And, we should let you know... This isn't one of those overcrowded university dorm style shares. Because there are only 3 people living in the flat, there's plenty of shared space for everyone. Also, this isn't a party house, so you'll be able to get your beauty sleep.
