Covering the Hampshire, A3 / M3 corridor for this renowned Membership Association, the job purpose of this unique role is to manage and implement all aspects of this Association's education and careers policy. You'll promote careers by developing credibility with educational establishments and careers advisers campaigning for student and technical membership. Excellent benefits include 22 days holiday rising to 29, pension, health scheme, plus others.
Essential requirements for this part-time Careers and Education Exec role include:
Preferably experience of working within Education / Careers establishments and knowledge of the education system
Some public speaking and presentation skills and the willingness to develop these talents
Strong customer focused approach
Good organisational and communication talents
Willingness to travel across the South
Car owner / driver
Key areas of responsibility within this Careers and Education Exec role include:
Creating and promoting a programme of careers events
Co-ordinating a programme of visits to universities to promote benefits of student membership
Developing and building support with local member groups to focus on membership improvement and conversion
Liaising with Regional Training Advisers to co-ordinate strategy and programmes
Promoting good links with Central Education and Training department to exchange information and influence regional careers and education strategies
Identifying opportunities for regional careers and educational initiatives
