Facilities Assistant/reception
Fantastic opportunity based in the heart of the West End for a Global Company.
Key tasks are:
Reception and switchboard duties
Internal mail deliveries
Goods inwards photocopier paper
Booking couriers, arranging special deliveries, last minute document dispatch
Logging facilities-related calls
Stationery and machine consumable orders and stock maintenance
Key personality requirements are:
To be people-friendly and customer serviced - the expectation is very much that the person in this role will recognise that they are part of a team aimed at supporting those in the business who need their help.
This might be logging calls re air-conditioning, flickering light bulbs, clearing cups from the boardroom, collecting Director's dry cleaning, arranging cabs and couriers - basically anything within reason that allows others to get on with their own job.
To project a polite and professional image at all times
To be well groomed and able to use the phone with confidence - clear speaking voice an essential.
A dependable and reliable approach to work is a must - a good punctuality record is vital.
This would also be suited to someone who has basic maths/English ability and basic word and excel experience for call logging - at times they may also need to provide admin assistance to Ops team (e.g. putting ticket coupons in numerical order, matching invoices and travel reqs, helping send out mail shots for sales team etc)
