Media Relations Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to maximise the public profile of this admirable Education charity in central London
You will
Identify and support key charity activities, events and innovations with appropriate media strategies
Foster relations with key media contacts, such as journalists and producers
Analyse coverage, making recommendations about target media and providing reports to project managers
You will also
Coordinate and evaluate the development of PR strategies for charity projects, whilst implementing their key elements
Develop and deliver an internal media training programme for project staff
Manage the media budget
The ideal candidate will show experience or knowledge of
Strategic and executional media relations roles
Developing PR strategies
Key contacts within the media
They should ideally
Know how to advise and coordinate PR work across multi-disciplinary teams
Have experience of the charity sector
