Year 5 Science Co-ordinator

Church of England Primary School situated in the heart of Westminster are seeking an experienced KS2 specialist to teach in Year 5 class and also be responsible for co-ordinating Science across the school. The school is two form entry with a strong chruistian ethos and caters for a diverse population.. The successful candidate will have a strength in Science and will work closely with senior management to further develop the teaching of Science throughout the school. A sound understanding of the UK curriculum is also required together with recent experience of teaching in the UK. Although this position is not due to commence until January 2008 the school would ideally like the successful candidate to start early in December in order to allow for a handover period with the current postholder.. The school are ideally seeking to make a permanent appointment but are happy to consider applications from candidates seeking a long term teaching commitment until July 08.
