Trainee/Graduate Recruitment Consultant
Salary: £18,000-20,000 Basic OTE circa £50,000 plus car scheme
Description: Our client is one of the leading specialist recruitment firms in the UK. They have been the leading firm in terms of expansion and profitability in the UK for the last 3 years running. They have numerous offices both nationally and internationally.
They have won numerous awards including 'Best International Agency' and were recently voted one of the best firms to work for in the UK by the Financial Times.
Based in their London offices, candidates need to have a good degree from a well established University and good A levels. Although previous sales experience is not a must, any direct sales experience of any nature is a definate bonus.
Candidates do need to be driven, highly motivated, persuasive, tenacious and have a good work ethic and be able to show through previous activities that they have these skills. Candidates will also have to have an understanding on the role of a recruitment consultant and a real desire to become one.
For the first 3 months your role will be a sales resourcer, mainly you will be name gathering, head hunting, searching the datebase for appropriate cv's and organising and selling interviews. When you have finished your training and have become a fully fledged recruitment consultant you will remain doing thse activities but additionally you will be trying to win new business, building relationships with existing clients and trying to place as many people in as many positions as possible.
