Graduate Recruitment Consultant
Named as the Best Public Sector Recruitment Agency in the 2006 Recruiter Awards, my client is a market-leading specialist provider of temporary, contract and permanent recruitment solutions to the UK public, not-for-profit and private sectors. My client specializes in Housing, Regeneration and Development, Policy and Finance.
From a standing start in 2001, my client now employs over 120 people, working with over 500 organisations through offices in London, Manchester and Birmingham, making them one of the fastest-growing and dynamic recruitment agencies in the UK. In order to continue this growth, my client is now looking to expand its Social Housing division by taking on two consultants in the Birmingham office, which was opened in October last year.
With a two-week intensive training programme, my client boasts one of the best training schemes in the industry, covering everything from the recruitment process to database and market specifics. Career progression is also unparalleled within the company, with internal development and promotion favoured above external appointment. This is a unique opportunity to begin a career within a recruitment agency in the top flight of its sector.
The emphasis here is on the team rather than the individual and commission and bonuses are awarded accordingly. 10% of all GP is split evenly between all consultants who successfully achieve 13 basic KPIs over the course of the month. This position will suit professional and driven team players with the commitment to succeed in this lucrative but competitive sector.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a successful track record ? either through previous employment, education or sports achievement. Previous experience in recruitment or in a sales capacity would be a definite advantage, although not essential ? a specific desire to enter the recruitment industry is essential. The successful candidate will be worked hard and rewarded accordingly.
The Ocean Partnership's dedicated Public Sector Team will handle all applications in the strictest confidence. Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
