General Medical Secretary £10.40ph
Our NHS Client are looking for Medical Secretaries to cover a number of vacancies in various departments of a London based NHS Trust.
Job Description:
Audio and copy typing, for senior clinicians and their teams, answering the telephones, booking appointments, liaising with other departments and colleagues very closely, filing, photocopying, faxing, and general medical secretarial duties as the role requires.
Departments that we are recruiting for at the moment include - Rheumatology, Vascular, Neurology, Gynaecology, Oncology and Ophthalmology.
If you do not have medical secretary experience, you still may be qualified for these positions and candidates who have a science/medical qualification e.g. nurses, physiotherapists etc are encouraged to apply as long as you have:
* Fast and accurate copy and audio typing - 50wpm
* Excellent knowledge of medical terminology.
* Good MS Office skills
* Secretarial skills
* A passion to work in the NHS
* Good Organisation and Time-Management skills
You must be available to start ASAP and commit for a minimum of 3 months. The roles are temporary, full time positions and are based close to Warren Street, Russell Square, Kings Cross and Euston tube stations.
