Medical Secretary £10.14
Our Client, a well-know NHS Foundation Trust are looking for a number of Medical Secretaries - experienced or beginners - to start in a number of roles ASAP.
We are offering Full Time and Part Time positions, starting ASAP for 3 - 6 months.
These are the skills we are looking for:
* Candidates must come from a medical background e.g. studied a medical or science subject and have excellent medical terminology.
* All candidates are tested, and we are looking for a typing speed of at least 45wpm with good accuracy.
* Candidates must have admin or secretarial skills, ideally in a medical environment.
* You must have good MS Office skills, a clear and confident phone manner and be able to work under pressure to clear a huge backlog of work.
Duties will involve audio and copy typing of medical letters, reports and discharge summaries. You will be responsible for organising your Consultant's diary and dealing with phone calls from patients and their families, which can be at times quite distressing. You must be very organised, and be able to multi-task. Training will be provided on the internal NHS database.
All jobs are on a temporary basis, so candidates must be available immediately. Rates are between £8.64 - £10.14p/h and all roles are based close to Zone 1 tube stations.
