DTCC Settlement Administrator
The Company
Multi-national City based top tier Investment Bank is seeking a DTCC Settlement Administrator to join their GSP Operations department for pre-settlement matching of and review/action cash nostro breaks for quarterly CDS cash flow cycles as well as undertaking projects as directed by Management.
The Role
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to Produce Infinity cash flow file and upload to DTCC for quarterly pre settlement matching (File to be produced weekly until 1 month prior to payment date and daily thereafter). Request reports daily from DTCC Payment Reconciliation System by 5pm New York time. Download reports daily from DTCC Payment Reconciliation System. Review DTCC reports, investigate discrepancies and follow up with counterparties as appropriate. Confirm DTCC participants net settlement figures 2 days prior to payment date. Prepare and distribute spreadsheets via email for non DTCC participants for pre-settlement matching of quarterly CDS cash flow cycles. Manual reconciliation of non DTCC participants cash flows. Review/action CDS-Pre queue in IntelliTracs daily, prioritising accordingly. Review/action CDS Open queue daily, and update case status to Pending. Review/action CDS Pending queue daily, ensuring case is followed up weekly thereafter. Open new case, investigate and pend as appropriate upon receipt of inquiry. Review items >30 days outstanding daily, and ensure case is followed up every 2 days thereafter.
The incumbent will have experience of working within a Treasury environment and will have gained a knowledge of the Derivative Products administered by the Department. Must be PC literate and have a knowledge of Microsoft products as well as the ability to adjust to fluctuating workloads and maintain high levels of accuracy. Good attendance record and strong organisational and teamwork skills. Must demonstrate an ability to perform as a team member and to communicate effectively with other members/department within the Bank and external counterparties where quality of service is essential.
Salary & Benefits
£35,000 - £40,000
