Teaching Assistant
Our client requires a Teaching Assistant who can speak Pushtor and Farsi to provide support to pupils to develop their English Language. You must be able to assist with preparing and planning educational programmes, and take a genuine interest in the progression of children's education.
Six months experience supporting pupils from Nursery through to Key Stage's 1 is necessary, as the role would be working with the Foundation age-range assisting pupils on a one to one and small group basis and supporting pupils in the classroom with the Foundation Curriculum. You are required to have experience working on your own initiative and as part of a team.
Fundamental skills include excellent communication skills, ability to use your initiative in a school setting, patience with student's needs and abilities and confidence with building relationships with staff and pupils alike.
Please note that you will need to supply two professional child based references and you will be required to undertake a CRB check before you commence employment.
