Teacher with extensive autism experience required
This primary SEN school is based in North Birmingham and caters especially for pupils with Asperges and autism, with some ADHD.
You shall be teaching both Key Stages 1 and 2 to cover PPA time. The right candidate will have extensive knowledge of Makaton as this is a system the pupils rely heavily on.
You should have a really positive approach to teaching and build relationships with children easily.
You should have UK QTS (NQT's will definately be considered) or have at least 6 months' experience of working in the UK.
Please note that you will need to supply two professional child based references and you will be required to undertake a CRB check (if you do not already hold one) before you commence employment.
