IT Manager - Luxembourg
The role:
- Lead and motivate the team of 10 IT System Engineers and Database Administrators
- Oversee the architecture, implementation and management of enterprise-wide systems to ensure stability, security, and scalability Manage all IT infrastructure projects
- Ensure correct policies and procedures are implemented to ensure efficient deployment and allocation of IT resources
- Manage IT purchases and vendor relationships
- Troubleshoot and resolve escalated Help Desk and Operation management requests
- Work with Development team to define, design and deliver system requirements for new technology implementation.
- Establish technology standards and guidelines
Your profile:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar function
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure, ESX VmWare and Unix
- Knowledge of Novell Technologies, Citrix Server, SAN Storage, Oracle and Ms SQL Database
- Very good analysis skills
- Strong communication, documentation and Project Management skills
-Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment
- Fluent in English and French
- Able to work in a fast growing environment
- Team player with a positive attitude
- Solid understanding of security in a medium to large sized enterprise and it related implementation
