Conference Logistics Manager
This highly regarded Conference Company has a senior vacancy available for a Logistics Manager with events organising experience to manage all logistical aspects of the events. Events are held in the UK and overseas and travelling abroad to attend events is an integral part of this position. Excellent benefits include bonus, pension, BUPA etc.
As well as proven events organising competencies within an agency, corporate company or hotel/venue environment, you will possess outstanding organisational skills that you are keen to demonstrate and develop even further. This vacancy is a challenging role that requires a high flier with patience, professionalism and client liaison talents that are second to none. You will have keen attention to detail and strong numeracy skills as well as confidence using MS Office and a willingness to learn new packages. Knowledge of Goldmine and Brains would be an asset but is not essential.
Key responsibilities involve managing all logistical aspects of the events; selecting venues; providing information and liaising with exhibitors, sponsors and speakers; liaising with suppliers; on-site responsibilities and post-conference tasks including calculating forecasts and monitoring accounts when paying invoices.
