We are seeking to recruit a Senior Hydrological Engineer to join the team in London and the South East providing advice on hydrology planning and design issues relating to Highways, Sewerage, Flooding and Service Co-ordination.
Projects are varied and cover Residential, Retail, Industrial and Commercial development sectors. As part of this office we have a specialist water engineering team providing hydrological analysis, River Modeling, Flood alleviation schemes, Flood Risk Assessments, Strategic Drainage Strategies and general water engineering advice.
Your principal role will be day to day project management and hands-on design to assist the promotion of sites from allocation through the local plan process through to technical approval and construction. You will be supported by a team of experienced technical staff of various grades. The position will report to an Associate.
Ideally the candidate will be working as an Engineer/Senior Engineer within a consultancy and/or the Environment Agency.
