A 21st century, award-winning multi-disciplinary consultancy with over 150 years experience is looking for Highway Design Engineers who strive both technically and commercially to work within a very strong team to address forthcoming UK and European design requirements on major highways projects. Principal Duties would include Preliminary/detailed design and documentation for major highways projects, including highway link and junction alignment design, and preparation of contract documents.
The right candidate would ideally be enthusiastic and reliable with a BEng in Civil Engineering, CEng or approaching CEng., with knowledge of MX/CAD/AUTOCAD. In addition the candidate should be able to demonstrate experience in designing and managing major highways projects to DMRB.
The role would involve producing Health & Safety Plans and Risk Assessments as well as preliminary and detailed designs and documentation for major highways projects, including highway link and junction alignment design as well as liaising with interested parties, including Clients, Contractors, Sub-consultants.
