[Earning potential around 40,000 - 45,000]
Role Description
As a Civil site manager you will be working on heavy civil engineering sites with in the rail industry. Projects are based in the Home Counties [Herts, Bucks, Beds, Cambs, and Essex] or in London based with in the M25.
Type of Projects include:-
" Bridge replacement
" Building Demolition
" Embankment Stabilisation
" Earthworks
" Station Modifications
" Platform extensions
This role requires someone with experience in heavy civil engineering. You will be required to run the site from the works programme provided from the start of the project to completion. You will be responsible for labour, materials, site paperwork and all site communications from client side [Network Rail] through to sub contractors on site. Full training is given to bring you up to speed with the rail industry standards and regulations.
Required Experience
You must have a civil qualification to support your competency in the role be it ONC, HNC, HND or degree background. Also some site experience is require from with in the heavy civil engineering industry, this could be from either rail, highways, water or airport.
