Education
Must be degree qualified with at least 5 years design experience in a civils environment.
Role Description
This role involves candidates having a sound knowledge and aptitude in design and design processes. Coming form a civils background the desired candidates will be able to co-ordinate projects through the design process and be able to deal with the policies and procedures that go with the design work.
The projects are mainly rail based work to Network Rail standards and framework agreements. Projects are from basic 50k projects to complex tender designs up to 30million in size.
Required Experience
This is a varied and exciting opportunity and would suit a strong designer looking to step up into a management role. Or an able design manager looking for a change in projects and a variety in your work.
Client and internal liaison is a key part to this role, so candidates need to be able to communicate and at all levels and handle the pressure accordingly
