German Speaking PA/Secretary to Head of Department
PA is sought by my client, an insurance brokers based within a two-minute walk of Liverpool Street station to join the German side of their team. Primarily you would be working for the Head of Department but also helping to support two other Managers.
Skills Required / Duties:
- Strong software skills in order to produce correspondence, reports, presentations and spreadsheets and to monitor own workflow status
- Ability to read and route incoming mail, attaching appropriate files to correspondence to be answered and support manager with incoming information when travelling
- Fluency in German and English both oral and written
- GCSE Maths and English grade C and above
- 50wpm copy and audio typing
- Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Duties:
- Composing, typing, filing and copying routine correspondence and other records
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining schedule of team members' holidays, sickness and travel
- Transcribing audio correspondence
- Answering telephone calls and giving information to callers or route calls to appropriate personnel
- Arranging travel schedules and reservations
- Taking minutes at meetings and compiling required report drafts to manager
- Providing language support and translation drafts to manager
- Keeping and maintaining records of UK and overseas expenses and preparing travel report drafts and informing appropriate parties
