JOB TITLE
Maintenance Officer
LOCATION
Based out of head office in W1 but will be required to travel to other sites from time to time
HOURS
Monday to Friday, 37.5 hour week
Reports to
Senior operations manager and functions in parallel on a day to day basis with the development department

Working to agreed programmes and procedures in order to deliver a safe and reliable environment for our customers and staff, whilst ensuring that the clients brand is fully protected through effective maintenance
To manage building improvements and maintenance works
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Fluency in all aspects of construction and planning regulations
Fluency in all food premises regulations
Provide an efficient, coordinated value for money maintenance service to operations
Assist in the preparation of budgets and supporting operational statements
Be fully knowledgeable of client design manual and ensure that no maintenance or improvements compromise the brand
Determine ( when necessary in consultation with operations managers) the appropriate method of providing particular services; continually monitor and review the costs and standards provided.
Ensure that relevant health and safety policies; legislation and codes of practice are followed to protect the company form legal enforcement and minimize the potential for civil claims
Being the main first line of escalation with internal /external inquires with relation to property maintenance and improvements
Review the long term maintenance and planned preventative maintenance programmes with database input

A excellent eye for detail and a proactive attitude
Can work alone confidently and to deadlines given and setting deadlines
Knowledge/ skills required

Appropriate experience and a professional qualification with a minimum entry level of HND or equivalent
Maintaining budget control & reconciliations on all projects
Ability to use read / understand CAD drawings
Effective communication, planning and organisational skills
A working knowledge of relevant legislation
