£25,000 - £30,000 + benefits. Based East London
Role Description
The Civil Site Engineer will be working on various civil projects with a rail bias including;
- Piling
- Reinforced concrete
- Tunneling
- Drainage
- Earthworks
- Bridges
The Civil Site Engineer will be responsible for reading designs, setting out, diary management and the completion of health and safety documentation. Reporting to the current Site Manager, the Civil Site Engineer will be given a section of work and a number of sub contracted staff to oversee. The Civil Site Engineer will liaise with senior management and the client on site, so excellent communication skills are required.
Required Experience
A civil engineering qualification is required and experience of working on heavy civils projects is essential. Setting out experience is required with 1-2 years site experience with a civil contractor.
