Packaging Development Manager
A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a Blue Chip Food manufacturing company for a European Buyer to work on the strategic development of their Packaging from a Procurement perspective. Reporting to a European wide purchasing manager you will be working with the technical team to put their specifications into practice, developing new cost savings and ethical sourcing policies. You will be able to apply to apply your strategic knowledge and purchasing skills to develop existing products - providing leadership to stakeholders. No specific commodity experience is required for this role, but the successful candidate will have a strategic procurement approach with high level technical and commercial skills, most likely gained in the Food, FMCG or Retail sectors. You will have excellent commercial skills and will be very analytical. The location of this role is flexible as this FTSE 250 company has multiple UK and European locations including offices in North London; some European travel will be involved in the role.
