UNIX Infrastructure Specialist - Publishing - London

UNIX Infrastructure Specialist required for my publishing client based in London. You role will focus on ensuring the Solaris Environment is managed and developed in a structured manner, working in conjunction with strategy & architecture to define relevant roadmaps. This includes the design and review of new solaris systems and application deployments. The chosen candidate will have technical project management experience with experience architecting Solaris Operating System and Hardware including installation, configuration and maintenance of different infrastructure elements. Strong hands-on technical knowledge of UNIX Servers (Fujitsu-Siemens and Sun)/Solaris OS (ver 10), Veritas Product Suite (foundation/ clustering/ filesystem), SAN (EMC) and Backup Systems is essential.

Salary: £45000 - £50000 per annum + £45-£50K
