To maintain the highest standards of customer service within the telecommunication department. Assisting guest, giving priority to the guests objectives, indicating a good listener. The operator will speak clearly, using appropriate phrases, typically in complete sentences efficient and speedy service to the Hotels guest both Internal and External must be maintained a all times.
To do all wake up call and report if no reply to the relevant department.
To take messages accurately and immediately send to the relevant departments / rooms.
To answer all external and internal telephone calls (within three rings) in a , polite and professional manner.
To immediately report any faults on the various systems, to the appropriate Telecommunications Company, to ensure that all fault reference is log appropriately and a note made for follow up in the handover book.
To havefull knowledge of programming all guest/admin telephone in guest rooms and administration areas.
To have a constant awareness of all emergency procedures.
To ensure the guest name is used during conversation.
To have a working knowledge of the hotel telecommunication system.
