Network Analyst
My financial, London based client is looking for a Network Analyst to provide technical support for their IT infrastructure. Your responsibility includes ensuring that the systems are properly backed up and that all patched are installed after suitable testing. The rest of the systems run on Windows platforms of various types. You will have experience on Windows NT up to Server 2003. Desktop machines are generally Windows 2000/ Windows XP.You will be required to take over the maintenance role for their iSeries machines (they have 2 x 510s, this will include covering everything assosiated with keeping iSeries machines running properly. The team will be responsible for maintaining the whole of the Companys infrastructure, Servers PCs, communications, telephones, network wiring, switches, routers, firewalls, etc, as well as being responsible for ensuring the organisations IT disaster recovery systems are fit for purpose and for carrying out regular tests of the DR environment in conjunction with the users.
