Training & Competence Manager
We are recruiting on behalf of a global leader in employee benefit, actuarial and human resources consultancy. Highly respected, they work with blue chip companies, providing client-focused solutions to employee benefit requirements.
They now have an opening in their London office for a Training & Competence Manager to ensure that the firms T&C Recruitment procedures meet the FSA's regulatory requirements and are adhered to, this will include:
Ensuring that all new recruits are fully aware of Corporate and Compliance procedures as they apply to the individual business line
Ensure all Approved Persons are approved by the FSA before undertaking the role.
Ensure that the FSA is notified of any Approved Person ceasing to perform a controlled function or changes in their details.
Ensure that all Approved Persons are signed-off as being competent, fit and proper
Undertake T&C supervision duties for Authorised Consultants, or assist and advise line of business supervisors where appropriate in fulfilling supervision duties.
Ensure that all Approved Persons maintain appropriate Key performance Indicator and Continuous Professional Development records.
Ensure that Approved Persons are assessed annually as competent to perform their roles.
Provide regular Management Information on Authorised Consultants performance for TCF purposes
With previous experience gained within a similar role, it is essential that you possess FPC as a minimum and be educated to 'A' Level (industry qualifications in Pensions and Supervision Skills desirable)
