Fund Accountant
An exciting opportunity now exists within a highly respected firm of Fund Managers for a Fund Accountant to work within this clients Fund Accounting division in their Surrey offices.
The section is responsible for maintaining the books and records of specified funds and for the accuracy of the resulting NAV calculations. As the successful candidate, you will work in a team with other fund accountants and will have responsibility for specific funds.
Your key responsibilities will be to follow procedures ensuring the integrity of the books and records on the fund accounting system, accurate calculation and checking of daily NAV's, reconcile data with external systems and prepare monthly control files and clear review points promptly.
In addition you will ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements and management information and Board Packs as well as prepare income forecasts and expenses for payment.
As the successful candidate an accountancy qualification is preferred and you will ideally posses accounts preparation experience. In addition financial services experience an advantage. You will also have good planning and organisational skills as well as systems knowledge and PC skills.
