What you will be doing
This role offers you a broad range of activity within the banking finance team. You primary activity will be to assist with the production of monthly management accounts, monitoring and processing expenses, monthly balance sheet reconciliations and the daily monitoring of the trading book. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills and understanding within leveraged finance, property, natural resources and structured finance products. You will also be able to assist with other areas of finance including bank loans, debt securities and equity instruments. Previous exposure to banking products will be essential.
What they want
You will be a studying towards a professional accounting qualification and have a good academic background. A degree would be advantageous but not essential. Previous financial services experience, particularly banking will be considered as essential. You will have had good exposure to banking products. You should be confident with your accounting skills and be prepared to utilise them fully. You should be keen to learn and develop new skills.
Salary: £28000 - £35000 per annum + Bonus + benifits
